Job Summary:

Fout Bros is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and distribution processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Submitting warehouse inventory reports
  • Clearing unwanted products from racks and production area
  • Managing and organizing products on warehouse shelves and production racks
  • Ensuring inventory levels are maintained
  • Working with the purchasing team to ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of stock and materials storage areas.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by identifying, labeling, and recording the location of materials, while reporting shortages as necessary.
  • Locate and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Conduct pre-use inspections on material-handling equipment.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to facilitate the movement of materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness in inventory areas, loading docks, and machinery.
  • Open, sort, and catalog materials as required.
  • Adhere to workplace safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Previous experience in stock or inventory management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with operating a forklift is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to read and analyze information.
  • Proficient in managing multiple complex tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills and a process improvement mindset.
  • Knowledge of inventory control systems.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and engage in physical labor.
  • Basic data entry skills for inventory management.
