Site Controller Position Overview
The Controller will be responsible for providing financial leadership and ensuring financial information is timely, accurate and compliant with relevant accounting principles for the Milledgeville, Georgia facility.
Principal Accountabilities
• Ability to lead and develop a team as well as mentor others outside of Finance.
• Supports Program Management and Operations Management by developing, measuring and reporting meaningful metrics, including variances to Annual Operating Plan and Estimate to Complete
• Lead the quarterly forecasting cycle, including development of the direct labor and direct material estimates at a detailed program level.
• Develop the annual overhead expense budget for the site level organizations.
• Lead the overhead rate development process, including quarterly updates of internal rates for Accounting department, producing government rates for Pricing, disclosure statement compliance, and support of ad-hoc rate scenarios as needed.
• Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Support the Treasury department with cash management forecasts and targets working with the Program management team.
• Support the annual property tax filings and insurance renewal cycles.
• Assist in audits of both financial statements and government rate submissions ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all required documentation.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent management and supervisory skills

• Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Familiarity with Cost-Point software is a plus.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.
• Ten years or more of related experience required.
